Difference Between Magma and Lava
Magma- molten material beneath or within the earth's crust, from which igneous rock is formed
Lava- the molten, fluid rock that issues from a volcano or volcanic vent
The only difference between magma and lava is that magama is molten material when it is in the earth, and once it erupts out of the earth it is called lava.
